Giving Back

VCU Parkinson’s and Movement Disorders Center relies on your support to advance our mission to slow and ideally stop the progression of Parkinson’s and movement disorders.

Our donors have advanced research, provided expanded clinical services, produced educational programs, and ultimately improved the quality of life of countless individuals impacted by Parkinson's and related movement disorders.

Your contributions:

  • Provide comprehensive, interdisciplinary evaluation and treatment for individuals affected by movement disorders
  • Conduct basic and clinical research projects to advance understanding of the disease process and develop treatments
  • Teach individuals and families strategies to cope with the disease and its effects, as well as educate health care professionals who care for people with Parkinson’s
  • Provide training to the next generation of clinicians and investigators

The Cadiuex Fund at MCV Foundation for Secondary Dystonia Research

Lisa Cadieux, a community member with Secondary Dystonia, has graciously founded The Cadieux Fund at MCV Foundation for Secondary Dystonia Research in order to support dystonia research at the Parkinson's and Movement Disorders Center. As part of the fund, Lisa has organized an online store through Lynch Creek Farm where 20% of the proceeds support dystonia research.
